Welcome! My online alias is Maya, and I reside in the not-so-sunny state of California. I can honestly admit that my first “real” experience of a full-fledged anime series was this phenomenal masterpiece known as Neon Genesis Evangelion. Imagine that as being your first exposure to anime. Certainly wasn’t a bad thing, but it definitely left an impression on me. To this day, I am still a fan of Shinji Ikari, and I don’t think he was ever a coward - not by a longshot - even though he blatantly left Asuka to fend for herself…but I’ll save that for a post someday.

Itsumo Anime Blog consists of a hodgepodge of posts varying from mecha to shoujo and has been running on Wordpress since January 12, 2004. School is now my life, so I no longer have the time to devote hours on end to this blog [hence my specialization in Slow Blogging]. However, it is very unlikely that I will ever cease writing here since there will always be something that will bring me back to blogging. You won’t find me writing extremely thought-provoking posts or anything highly intelligent, but you will find heart, emotion, and elements of my personality in my writing.
