Dewey’s aspirations of world domination are under way now that he has attained the greatest weapons of mass destruction — the small-type Corelians to help him destroy everything that is deemed unworthy of existing on this planet. Now that he has succeeded in demolishing Feres City in just 1246 seconds, his eyes are now set on destroying Gremcow since his warped mind is convinced that a second round of mass genocide is necessary for the planet’s future. Eureka’s having a hard time accepting the grim reality that her own kind has destroyed an entire population of innocent civilians, but there’s nothing that she can do to improve this situation except to help the lucky few that have managed to escape. However, no matter how hard she tries to become human, she cannot escape the reality that she is not human and will never be seen as one as illustrated in this episode when she scares a little boy just by looking at him because of the identical eyes she has to the monsters that killed his parents. She completely loses it because of her insurmountable guilt over her past mistakes as well her guilt over this current situation, and it takes a hard slap in the face from Talho to calm her down. Ouch, that was harsh!
Grandpa Thurston is busy working extra long hours on the new board for the Nirvash, but an unexpected delay occurs when the military decides to pay an unwelcome visit to his garage. However, he doesn’t give them a chance to do anything to him or his garage. Not only does he knock the soldiers completely off their feet with the deafening screech coming from his mountain of speakers, but he also easily makes his way past their Humvees with the help of his buddy. Trouble arises when the cable that’s attached to the board refuses to release, forcing them to speed further and further toward the impending cliff. Although this situation is very troubling for him, he’s determined to deliver the board to Renton no matter what and sends it off in the right direction.

Dewey has found a use for Anemone after all and assigns her to observe the Corelians, but she refuses to comply and is promptly injected with her mysterious serum to calm her down. Unfortunately, Dominic is powerless in this situation now that Dewey’s girls have practically taken over the ship. Meanwhile, Holland is having a hell of a time trying to locate the board, and it’s causing him to panic since they’re under a tight schedule now that they have to deal with another upcoming crisis with the invasion of Gremcow as well as the presence of a military ship heading straight toward them. Anemone’s been sent out to observe the Coralians, but she’s been itching to play with the TypeZERO since her last encounter with them and jumps at the opportunity. Renton’s only concern at this point is with retrieving the board since he isn’t in any mood to play around with her, but she leaves him with no other choice than to play along with her. She immediately unleashes her Vascud Crisis in hopes of finishing off what she started, but Renton’s elite piloting skills along with the Nirvash’s new improvements allow him to retrieve the board as well as avoiding theEND’s Vascud Crisis altogether, sending Anemone into a flying rage since playtime isn’t going her way. Now that the Nirvash is equipped to seat both Renton and Eureka, they are able to create another Seven Swell Phenomenon together, allowing them to destroy the small-type Coralians from destroying more human life as well as damaging the theEND just enough to prevent Anemone from causing any more trouble.
Dewey doesn’t seem the least bit surprised that the Nirvash has meddled with his plans since it almost seems as if he had expected their arrival so that he could record the time it took for the Swell to destroy the Coralians – 1246 seconds. He’s doing a great job of keeping his secret agenda hidden from everyone, but it’s pretty obvious that his plans aren’t for the good of mankind since he’s planning a worldwide catastrophe by unleashing Coralians around the planet. I’m almost wondering if he’s using the Gekko Go and the Nirvash particularly to eliminate the Coralians since he knows that they’ll always find a way to save the innocent. After all, he didn’t seem upset that the Nirvash stopped them from destroying Gremcow. He also states that “…the path leading us to them lies before us,” and I’m having difficulty understanding whether he’s referring to the Nirvash or the Coralians? Ah, I just love this show and all of its twisted characters.
(Yes, it’s finally posted! Thanks for waiting. :))

that map in dewey’s office tells alot about dewy’s plan.one ting it starts up in the south and spread out from there.if you remember what dr bear said it will destroy the world.how sad:cry::cry::cry::sad:i did see a diferent hand holding now.locking fingers
Well, I doubt that Renton will ever allow that to happen. After all, He IS the son of Adrock Thurston. Also, he isn’t one to back down to any challenge no matter how difficult it may be.
kawaii did you ever go to that mbs site as of late.2 clues are posted on the trailers .that put a twist on things .we now know what daina looks like.eps 47 on the bottom second from right.you can delete this post if you want.this is just for your info
No, I haven’t been to the site recently. I don’t really want to be spoiled, so I’ll avoid the trailers. I’d rather wait for the surprise.
You must have been pretty sick. You called theEND “theEDGE.”
I think Dewey knows that there’s only one typeZERO and from the map, plenty of targets to hit. On the other hand, was it merely coincidence that Dewey struck at the same place that Axel designated as the delivery point?
Also, it appears the english website complete with trailer was released. It seems like they really toned down the biblical references that nanashi was playing up. “Don’t beg for it, or you won’t get anything!” Now it sounds more like a tip on relatations with the wife =/
Also, that 1246 number stuck out as a random length of time to choose, so I Googled it. Wikipedia came up with a number of events — one of them was the succession of an Emperor to his son. But this is quite a stretch. Googling for 12:46 brings up Luke 12:46, “then the lord of that servant will come in a day when he isn’t expecting him, and in an hour that he doesn’t know, and will cut him in two, and place his portion with the unfaithful.” It’s the end of a parable of a servant who lazes around when his master is late in coming back, drinking and whatnot. This verse basically says “misbehave and you’ll get what’s coming to you.”
That one seems a bit closer. We could construe Dewey as the servant to an absent master, and Adrock/Renton as the master who’s unexpected return is announced via the Seven Swell (itself a biblical reference) phenomenon, but it’s still something of a stretch.
KT - Oh crap, thanks for pointing that out! It’s been fixed. Heh, I wasn’t kidding when I said that I was distracted and sick.
Thank you for your insightful comments, jldugger! I’ll respond tomorrow….er later in the morning when I’m not half asleep.
i was right the american releases are going to very slow as all you know the first dvd and manga are set to release on 04-25-06.the second release is now set on 06-27-06 the third is in 08/06 no date for the third one yet.the running time is 125 minites each the show is 25 min. so that = 5 shows per dvd NOT 4 as in japan.it sounds like a 10 dvd set when fin.if they are doing one per 2 mo. it will take them 1 year and 8 to 10 months .somewhere in 02/08
jldugger - “Don’t beg for it, or you won’t get anything!” - LOL, it sounds more like they’re promoting a hentai than an actual show.
Wow, your search on 1246 came up with some interesting results! Huh, I don’t think Dewey will ever see himself as a servant to anyone, least of all Adrock whom he seems to despise. If anything, Dewey sees himself as the planet’s master who is dead set on initiating a second Summer of Love.
Finally watched eps. 32 today….noticed Dewey’s kids seem to be aging quickly. I can see Dominic taking Anemone and going AWOL, as he doesn’t like the way the military/Dewey’s kids treat her.
I agree the Nirvash’s “energy ball attack” reminds me of Naruto too.
BTW, kawaii, my trip is half over already, so I’ll be back, don’t worry.
10th - Geeeez, about time you watched #32.
You really think Dewey’s kids/girls are aging quickly? They don’t look any older than they did from the previous episode. As for Dominic, I can see him going AWOL with Anemone since he can’t protect her anymore.
BTW, you made my day with your comment.
the new bones site is http://www.bones.co.jp
Cool, thanks for the link, toniblab.
the crickits are working very had on your site and kt!
toniblab - I have a solution - continue writing your lovely comments so that I can respond to them. That way, maybe both of us can make the crickets go away.
rubing legs and wings, rubing legs and wings
Rubing = Rubbing? That’s not exactly what I had in mind, but uh…whose legs and wings are you rubbing? Inquiring minds would like to know.
that is how crickets make noise by rubbing there legs and wings! so i spell bad noby is perfect bo ho your picking on me .like that blone hair boy (evil kid)that said to dominic and animone i will tell dewey
Oh gawd, you have just proven what an idiot I am. (Uh, don’t respond to that). I did not know that about crickets, and I have learned something new.
I often misspell my words as well, so I usually double-check it with my handy spell-checker.
i see you don’t like BUGS?!
news update adultswim has eureka seven listed for 04-15/16-06 midnight time slot for airing .no sure if it is online or tv slot.same time as fma old slot.i hope they use the rewriters on flcl for a good japanese/english lang.
Nope, bugs and I don’t get along very well. Don’t get me close to a spider or a cockroach - I’ll go bizerk.
I’m so glad that CN is airing E7, and I’ll probably end up watching it just to see how the dubs are. I have been very pleased with FMA and Samurai Champloo, so I’m sure they’ll do a great job on E7 as well.
Yay, #33 is available for download! And I temporarily have my internet connection again.
TV-PG-LV on Toonami Network. I lost my ratings sheet and also, Eureka 7 is coming to [adult swim] April 15 at 12:00 A.M. Enjoy!
Also, I wanted to add that The next TV-14 block of Eureka 7 episodes will be episodes 37 through 41. The next block will be Episodes 46 through 50. I dunno when there’s gonna be any stand-alones.
