I’ll be upgrading Wordpress to 2.02, so you might encounter some errors during this process. Let’s hope this’ll work.
Edit: Yay, it worked! This update is apparently pretty important, so it is recommended for all Wordpress users to upgrade to 2.02 just to be on the safe side.
Hehe, an ounce of protection is worth a pound of cure. I had to upgrade Sea Slugs! twice before Spam Karma and Akismet would work again *__*, but my personal blog upgraded without a hitch.
Heh, when I upgraded I accidently forgot to disable all my plugins. Fortunately, they all still work, so that’s a good thing.
Nice to see Sea Slugs! up and running again, though.
my brother has this computer set up to do it by itself in upgrades.firewall and other upgrades.some times it needs to reboot itselfwe got like 3 computer .one is a lap top .the other 2 are towers and parts for about 3 more computers.
toniblab - Oh, we’re talking about the Wordpress upgrade, not the Windows update that you may be referring to.
On another note, I don’t know what the heck happened, but I woke up only to find that I had forbidden access to my entire site (the dreaded 403 blank page). Did anyone else encounter this problem? Absolutely nothing worked, and I was just about to send a ticket to my hosting company. However, after restarting the laptop, it works fine now. I’m really glad that it now works, but it sure gave me a scare. Just wondering if anyone else encountered this problem as well? Or was it just me?
sounds like deep cooler computer.my brother has to keep up with the bad worms and spams do to his conection to lucent (bell labs) in naperville,IL .he is now retaired from lucent.that whole building is one big server.it does mostly testing for new up grades for the phone co.did you ever heard of unix sys?? he work with it alot.we even had a 3b2 sys computer at that time.
toniblab - Ah, my computers are fine, but it’s my site that wasn’t working for a while. It’s normal now though, so I don’t know what that was. Maybe I just needed to clear my cache?
Yep, I’ve heard of Unix. I minored in Computer Science, so I know a little about it.
