I do like Nobu’s gentle personality overall. He’s sweet, kind, and an ideal best friend. I even believed that he could’ve been The One for Hachi, but now I’m not really sure if she would’ve been better off with him. Even though Takumi’s an obsessed workaholic with a tendency to stray from time to time, he does take care of her when he has the time. He can definitely be a real prick at times, but I’d take him over Nobu any day. Nobu just isn’t manly enough to be taken seriously as a life partner. He’s too indecisive, and he doesn’t know what he wants. I like it that Takumi doesn’t beat around the bush with his opinions, and he knows how to handle his situations calmly (well, with the exception of a frozen computer ^_^). Plus, I like his long hair.

Now, Nana is really starting to become quite an annoyance with her desperate attempts in trying to get Nobu to chase after Hachi. It’s TOO late, man – give it up already! Instead of trying to “fix” the unfixable, she should only focus on her own emotional problems and leave everyone else’s alone. I’m starting to get the impression that she is much more needy and clingy than Hachi ever was. Look at how desperate she has become with her overreaction to Hachi’s text message…it’s like she’s suffocating without Hachi around. She needs to relax more often. Take a nap. Listen to soothing music. Something to get her away from obsessing over Hachi.
