NANA.
I’m aware that most people are referring to Nana* as Hachi (as I have in the past), but since her nickname hasn’t been established in the show yet, I feel that it’s too early to refer her as such. It’s not a big deal or anything, but I just don’t want to confuse any non-manga readers in case they may be reading this. Anyway, I think this is the last segment of Nana*’s story, and it’ll be interesting to see what’s in store for next week’s episode.

Misc.
Despite all of the rumors you may have heard that I’ve gone linkdead, I am still very much alive. I just needed a much needed break from writing, and I now feel more refreshed and ready to continue. I’ve been spending much of my free time playing Flyff during the recent weeks, and it’s been both a curse and a blessing. It’s a blessing because I finally got my boyfriend to move back in with me and we’re playing the game together (he’s a Mercenary and I’m still playing my Assist - and we’re having fun flying on our hoverboards), but the curse is that I’m not interested in doing anything else, and it’s starting to get on my family’s nerve. I would love to move out to a place of my own so that I can do whatever I want, but if you live in the Bay Area where the real estate market is outrageous, you know how expensive it is to live out here. I’m almost thinking of moving out of California and somewhere where real estate and the cost of living is actually affordable. As of now, I can’t do anything but mooch off of my parents, and I feel pretty bad about it. It’s not a bad deal, but still…it’s too crowded living here. Anyway, I’ll try to get a post up by this weekend. Thank you so much to everyone who still continues to visit this site. I really, really appreciate it.

NANA.
I’ve realized that I got a little ahead of myself in the last post and accidentally included some spoilers in the show because I didn’t think they would mention anything about the first volume. I’m not sure why they decided to change the storyline around to reveal Nana*’s story in the second episode, but I’m glad that they included it nonetheless.

I’ve been playing this game called Fly For Fun for six days now, and it’s a completely free MMORPG that allows you to party with other people and so on. It’s a highly addictive game (I’d say it’s almost as addictive as World of Warcrack), and it really has been fun until I became an assist. If you’ve ever played WoW or Guild Wars, it’s the same as choosing a life as a Priest or a Healer – your character’s job is to support other players during battle. The reason I chose to be an Assist is because I like to solo and heal myself rather than having to rely on someone else. The drawback to being an Assist is that every single player who I’ve partied with thinks I should accept being treated like a worthless slave whose only job is to allow them to fight and gain all the loot. This alone is a major turnoff and makes me want to either stop being an assist or change to a Mage or Mercenary. I don’t know…does an Assist come with a billboard saying “Please bully me and treat me like shit?” I ended up logging off the game and leaving someone stranded to handle the mobs on their own after being barked at with orders. I think I’m done playing an Assist unless I find a really cool player to partner with. Until then, I’m probably going to lay off the game for a little bit or become a Mage. I’m not a slave for hire.
As for this blog, I promise I’ll post something soon. I’ve just been a little distracted, frustrated, and dealing with a lot of personal annoyances. Bleh, life sucks sometimes.

NANA.
I haven’t been this excited about watching a show since Bleach made its debut way back when, and I’m certain that many of you have already found out for yourselves just how awesome this animated adaptation is. It does NOT disappoint in the least, and I appreciate everything from the awesome voice acting down to the animation which is an absolute treat for us dedicated NANA fans who have been patiently waiting for this. I’m sure that there will be many people watching this who haven’t yet read the manga, but I have a feeling that it won’t be any less enjoyable for those of you, either. I’ve been waiting to write this review for months, so I’ll stop blabbering now.
