Trinity Blood #03

Sorry for the delay in getting this post out. I’ve been getting ready for my short break as well as repairing the computer after the new service pack had caused the computer to crash, so I haven’t had much time to devote to blogging. This will probably be my last post until I return, but I’ll be bringing my laptop with me so I can continue blogging offline. :)

Abel sets off on a mission in István to find the Star in order to prevent a major catastrophe from happening, but he gets himself captured by the Marquis of Hungary (also known as the Vampire of István) and is promptly warned that his only usefulness as a hostage is to assist them in going against the much hated Vatican. He also discovers that Gyula-sama (the Marquis) is a Methuselah, one who is said to have lived 969 years according to the Bible. Abel is rescued by Sister Esther shortly after his capture and learns that his predecessor, Bishop Laura Vitéz, had raised this child as her own daughter but had been killed by Colonel Radcón after disobeying the rules implemented by the Marquis. Abel learns that Sister Esther and her partner Dietrich had taken the law into their own hands by murdering Radcón in retalation, and he’s even more surprised that they’ve also been secretly planning to eliminate Gyula as well. He tries to convince them that revenge won’t do them any good, but Dietrich thinks he’s full of crap and mistakenly opens the church doors to his death. He’s immediately fired upon by the police under orders of the Marquis, leaving Esther to blame herself as she watches her partner getting shot to death. In a fit of sadness and rage, she tries to grab Dietrich’s gun but is intercepted by Abel before getting either of them killed. The officers begin to arrest her for murdering City Police Force Colonel Radcón, but Abel tells them that they’ll have to arrest him as well. She’s surprised by his kind and selfless gesture, but the sentimental moment doesn’t last long enough for her to prepare for what happens next. With both of them now in custody, the officers have obviously been ordered to make sure that everything she cares about is destroyed, leaving her to watch helplessly as her remaining possessions are destroyed by fire. It looks like Abel will have a tough job ahead of him in stripping Gyula of his control over the city and its people. Looking forward to watching the next episode and posting when I get back.

Have a great week everyone! :)

Basilisk #09

As in the previous episode, this is solely based on the raw, so I’m just guessing here.

Oboro’s fairytale life is quickly fading away now that she’s been informed of the peace treaty being broken, and that also means that her and Gennosuke are now technically enemies….

Basilisk #08 - Translated from Babel Fish

I just watched the Portuguese version of Basilisk last night, and I used Babel Fish to translate what was being said in this episode (a brilliant idea, thanks to Ren!). Since it isn’t translated very well, I’ve decided to re-word what was being said as best as I can. It still probably won’t make much sense, but I did the best that I could. Hope this helps some. :)

Basilisk #08

Note: I’m watching this episode raw without the nifty subtitles to help me understand what’s going on, so I’m most likely going to be mistaken on most things that are happening in this episode. However, I still have the urge to write down my thoughts on what I *think* is happening, so please keep that in mind. Lots of screenshots this time, so please enjoy. :)

Battlefield 2 Demo

I’m sure most of you are already aware that the Demo of Battlefield 2 is available, and as an avid player, 10thdiv has provided me with a few screenshots during his hours of playing. I’ve asked him to take some better screenshots, so please look forward to more screens of the game in the near future. :)

And here’s the scoreboard from one of today’s games:
