Daphne in the Brilliant Blue #3

What’s with their uniforms? It looks more like they’re perforrmers at a strip joint rather than members of an agency helping people. They’re like Ban and Gingi…only sluttier. However, their unique fashion and whacky hair styles clearly set them apart from other anime characters. The female version of Get Backers, perhaps?

Full Metal Alchemist #20

This episode rocked. Finally, an episode where I didn’t feel like falling asleep. The last few episodes, I have to admit, have been a little on the boring side. The fighting scenes were excellent, and I enjoyed watching Edward beating the crap out of his oppenent. It still cracks me up everytime someone calls him short. I can totally relate, since I’m on the short side as well. ^__^

I don’t understand why Al would believe that he wasn’t human. Even though his soul is bound to that armor, that doesn’t take away his humanity. Human beings who murder for the enjoyment of it are really monsters disguised in human form. So, in that sense, Al is very human. He has feelings, doubts, goals, compassion, and love for other people. That makes a person very human. So, he doesn’t have flesh and he can’t feel warmth — but he is Edward’s brother, and he should not let some prisoner convince him otherwise. Come on, Al - believe in yourself!

Naruto #76

I was having the WORST experience trying to watch BakaSan’s ultra-fast sub of this current episode. Many of the scenes were fuzzy, and I was getting frustrated because I couldn’t even watch the show without seeing the pixels and the entire screen going blank. So, I decided to visit the AnimeSuki forum (in which I’m a member but no longer chat on the site), and I found out that all I needed was a certain codec to solve this problem. I searched for it on Google, downloaded it, and lo and behold, it worked! The episode was clean and clear, and I was able to watch the episode without getting into a tantrum that only Naruto can do. If you’re having the same problem, download a codec called “ffdshow Alpha.” That should help.

Having that said, I really enjoyed this episode. The first five minutes were a bit of a filler (with the dog and Sakura chatting about shampoo), but the rest stuck to the storyline. You can really see in this episode how advanced Sasuke is in his fighting over Temari. She attempted to knock him down, but was unsuccessful. What she considered a “real” fight was just “playing” around for him, and it was cool to watch him beat her so easily.

Also, the Orichimaru vs. Sarutobi fight continues. I won’t write anything about that since I would be spoiling it for those of who you who are waiting for AMBU-AONE’S version (as am I), but you already know that it’s going to be an exciting fight.

I can’t wait to watch the next episode!

Waiting…

I visit AnimeSuki multiple times a day to check out the new anime, and I noticed that there are days where there is absolutely nothing to download. At least, nothing that I’m currently interested in. Perhaps I’m too picky with the anime I watch, or perhaps I should try watching other anime that I normally wouldn’t watch. I’m currently waiting for the newest Episode of Full Metal Alchemist, and of course the newest episode of Naruto. Neither of these anime fall in the genre of romance, but that’s actually my favorite type of anime. Call me a silly fangirl, but it’s true. There hasn’t been anything out that’s been half as good as Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, but perhaps I’m just out of the loop? If there are any romance anime that’s currently new that I haven’t been watching, please let me know. Thanks! ^__^
